Couples Counseling

Relationship counseling helps couples improve communication, interactions and the overall health of the relationship. While couples often come to counseling with a goal of identifying and resolving conflicts within the relationship, it can be helpful at any stage of their relationship.  Experts are clear that there is no time that is too soon to begin;  whether issues have begun to escalate or you want to be proactive, early intervention allows for a stronger foundation.  Common issues addressed in couples counseling include: recurring conflicts, poor communication, significant life changes, distrust or jealousy, unresolved issues from the past.  Data shows that 70-90% of couples find relationship counseling to be helpful, noting that more sessions lead to more success.  Success in couples counseling is dependent on the individuals in the session and their goals.
